Concerned about your intake of preservatives, animal fats, dairy, eggs and refined sugar? Without the need for pre-packaged products with all of their nasties, this series of cooking classes will teach you to make a delicious meal from scratch, with ease!
In our next cooking class, we will be collaborating with Chihiro Kownacki to make sauerkraut the traditional way, using only fresh vegetables and a small amount of sea salt!!!
●Mixed vegetable sauerkraut with cabbage, carrot, celery
●Sauerkraut and mushroom soup
●Brown rice with chickpeas
●Sautéed tempeh and ginger
●Blanched vegetable salad
●Rhubarb and apple compote
-Dates: Sunday 23, Monday 24 March
-Time: 11:00am (incl. sit down lunch)
-Venue: Soramame Kitchen, 7-8 mins walk from Bondi Junction Station.
-Fee: $90pp (incl. ingredients and equipment, recipes, a sit down meal and healing tea)
-Class size: 2-6 people
-Bring your own apron
*You will take about 250-300ml sauerkraut home with you to rest for a week. It will be worth the waite!!!
*Containers for the sauerkraut will be provide.
